Licensing and Accreditation Program

If you're a childcare provider in Crawford, Dent, Maries, or Phelps County, you can benefit from our quality Early Childhood programs.

These programs are designed for childcare providers serving children from birth to age three. If you're interested in becoming a licensed childcare provider or expanding the capacity at your existing facility, please contact us.

Licensing Program

Becoming licensed can sometimes be a complicated and intimidating process. We'd like to help you get through it as easily as possible. We offer:

  • consultation visits where we bring a Environmental Health Specialist to your facility to review information needed to meet licensing requirements.
  • financial assistance (subject to availability) to meet licensing requirements
  • equipment and materials specific to your needs for both you and the children at your center
  • technical assistance and consultation to help you with challenges such as budgeting, forms, paperwork, etc.
  • curriculum training for emotional beginnings, infant and toddler framework

Our Accreditation Program

Becoming accredited puts the gold star on your childcare program and assures your parents that their children are getting the best care possible.  The program is funded through a grant from the Department of Social Services. Use the links below to find out more about our program.
