Notes From Amy
Making a Splash!

Dear ###USER_firstname###,

Well, I am going to have to be careful with what I write in these little Notes to you! Our sweet friend Debbie Estey stopped by because of my last Note - she thought I was in some type of trouble! I so appreciated her visit and I am thrilled when you let me know you read this little bit of information. This time I have some great little stories and picture to share with you - so I hope no one worries!

Young Parents Splash Around!

Last night we had a great group of young parents join us for our annual picnic and Splashzone party! Even in this heat everyone had a great time. Board member Marilyn Frederick took pictures and her daughter Dot presented a program on water safety. The pictures are so cute - it certainly looked like everyone kept cool and had fun. I thought you would like this picture of Zach and his ducky son!

Capable Kids and Families Fun!

On Saturday Capable Kids and Families had a great morning at Splashzone. One year it was so cold we worried about hypothermia but this year the heat was just what we needed! We are able to have this great celebration thanks to our local Wal-Mart Distribution Center.

Not only did everyone enjoy a picnic and water fun but we also received a load of cute flip-flops at the Resale Shop and were able to share them with some little feet! It is so wonderful to see everyone having such a great time and sharing in some fun.

Yesterday marked the "three months" until our annual fund raising lunch. Please let us know if you would like to attend - the date this year is October 26th!

I hope you are finding some time to splash around and that you are staying cool. This has been a really long stretch of very hot weather and I am so grateful for water and air conditioning! Hope I see you soon!
