One of The Resale Shop’s primary missions is financial support of the Partnership. Even with the economic down-turn we delivered $21, 380 this year.  These results were achieved by maintaining store sales through consistent advertising and reducing store costs, primarily staffing.  

The Resale Shop continued to assist those in need in the community by providing more than $8,000 of in-store vouchers through other non-profit organizations and local agencies. The community also supported the Shop with a strong level of volunteers and donations.

An exciting development for the Shop this past year was our partnership with the Rolla Area Sheltered Workshop.  In a joint effort, the Partnership and RASW applied for and was awarded a grant from Ozark River Solid Waste Management District to purchase a new baler.  This baler is housed at the RASW for their recycling program of cardboard and shrink wrap.  The Resale Shop, on a monthly basis, uses the baler for salvage clothing which is then later sold to a wholesaler.

In Fiscal Year 2009, some of our results include:
